Guide for Accurate Body Measurement
Essential advice to ensure an optimal fit:
- Secure your measurements prior to placing your order. It’s advisable to have them taken by a skilled tailor or you can self-measure using the guidelines provided here.
- Requirements for measurement: Ensure that you are barefoot when measuring. Measure directly on your body, with the exception of underclothes.
A. Bust:
- Remember, this differs from your bra size.
- Wear a bra for accurate measurement.
- Use a non-padded bra for this measurement (the dress will include a bra).
- Keep your arms relaxed by your side.
- Wrap the tape around the fullest area of your bust.
B. Waist:
- Tilt to the side to locate your waist's natural indentation.
- This point marks the narrowest segment of your waistline.
- Wrap the measuring tape at this juncture.
- Allow the tape to sit comfortably, not too tight, to leave room for natural movement.
C. Hips:
- Position your feet together.
- Circle the tape around the widest part of your hips and backside.
- Ensure the tape grazes over both sides of your hip bones.
D. Hollow to Floor:
- Stand erect with your feet together.
- Take the measurement from the hollow space at the base of your neck straight down to the floor.
E. Height:
- Stand upright with your feet together.
- Start from the highest point of the head and extend the tape measure straight down to the floor.
F. Inside Leg:
- Begin at the topmost part of your thigh, right where it meets your pelvis, and measure down to the bone of your ankle.
